Why it is best to Avoid Vaping Rather than Smoking
Whether you’re an ex-smoker or a current smoker, the thought of E-Cigarettes and E-juices may intrigue you. It is a new method of getting nicotine into your system without the associated tar and toxic byproducts. There are even non-nicotine varieties open to those who wish to give it a try. Many say that the electric cigarettes can be quite helpful in helping them quit the hard habit of smoking.
So, could it be safe to use? It is a viable option to nicotine gum, patches, and inhalers. It’s completely safe to utilize. But it’s still easier to avoid smoking entirely, or to at least minimize it as much as possible. So, let’s check out the risks associated with E-Cigarettes and E-juices, and see how vaporizing can help you prevent them.
Firstly, let’s look at heart disease. This can be a big one. Many researchers think that there are significant cardiovascular advantages to using electronic cigarettes, since they produce propylene glycol, which is considered to be a “smart” tobacco. It appears that the nicotine really doesn’t reach the bloodstream too quickly, so it acts more like an antioxidant when compared to a toxin. Propylene glycol has been shown to decrease the buildup of cholesterol, Smok Novo 2 triglycerides, and plaque on artery walls.
Now let’s check out the cancer risks. There are two main groups of individuals who are at a higher risk for developing cancer from by using this technology. First, young smokers, who might be taking several hundred milligrams each day of nicotine in their system. Second, those who have had a history of cancer or other illnesses linked to cigarette smoking.
Based on the Daily Caller, Maryland State Health Department spokesperson Dr. Deonneaden stated that there is “limited evidence” that electronic cigarettes help people give up smoking. That’s quite a statement, considering that you will find a wealth of evidence indicating that this product can be highly beneficial in many ways. For instance, it’s very difficult to quit smoking when you’re addicted to the nicotine, but with e-cigarette use, you will probably find that you’re able to give up for a bit longer, without experiencing withdrawal symptoms. And, because the Daily Caller points out, the FDA has not set a legal maximum of how much nicotine a person should ingest from any kind of digital camera, including e-cars.
Now let’s consider the teenage smokers. Most teenagers would agree that cigarettes are bad, and they’d probably try to quit if they could. However, many teens are so deeply addicted to nicotine that it’s difficult to obtain them to stop smoking even when they want to. This is the main problem with adult vapers, not they are getting their cigarettes from an unhealthy source, but that they are replacing cigarettes with something that tastes, and looks, and feels almost identical to a cigarette. It’s hard to understand why the adolescent who’s desperate to quit cigarettes would start vaporizing instead of taking more gradual steps towards quitting.
Now think about this. Studies indicate that long-term using tobacco can cause cancer, heart disease, and many other forms of diseases, yet the tobacco industry spends millions of dollars each year marketing products which are very similar to traditional cigarettes. They have done so for decades, and it doesn’t appear to be dying down anytime soon. If you really believe that e-cigarette technology is substantially different from long-term smoking because it doesn’t contain nicotine, then why would anyone cause you to buy a product that may kill you over time? Actually, a report released by the American Heart Association even suggests that children will develop nicotine addiction than older people, due to the fact these youngsters often do not have the correct kind of information regarding the harmful effects of long-term nicotine use.
If we want to go the full road ahead and ensure that teenagers, and children specifically, don’t get addicted to cigarettes and begin the long process of lifelong tobacco addiction, we must focus on quitting smoking, period. But, with regards to “vaping”, many people are just happy to steer clear of the real work involved in quitting cigarettes. Which makes no sense at all, and that is the reason why I encourage everyone in order to avoid vaping, at the very least until they’re fully dependent on them.
